Handover builder: the form on the left and a live preview of the handover file cover on the right, for a sample client

Form and live preview. Sample data shown: the client, site and system are placeholders.

The problem

Each solar installation ends with a handover file for the client: cover, system details, headline figures and supporting documents.

Assembled by hand each time, they were slow to produce and varied from project to project.

What was built

A form on one side, the finished file on the other.

One form
Entity, client, site, handover date, system type, system size and the headline figures for the cover.
Live preview
The cover and pages update as the form is filled in.
Print-ready output
An A4 pack and an A3 spine, saved as PDF and printed the same way every time.
